Kitty Sitting on Abbey Road
Prior to heading to Texas for a week we had the opportunity to kitty sit for some friends of ours (accepting the fact that we would both be sneezing and coughing due to allergies). We were able to stretch out in a nice sized home for about a week and a half and enjoy some over energetic bundles of joy. Cybill and Fawkes are their names and they are approximately 6 months old, both from the same litter. They are still in training and tend to find the punishment of getting sprayed in the face with water rather funny. They love to chase each other around the house running all over the furniture and straight up curtains. They love jumping on counters and tables and love to chase and attack the broom while I attempt to clean.
Every time I shut myself in a room I open the door to find two little kitties anxiously waiting to join me. They are certainly filled with life! We were even able to enjoy two curled up fur balls on the bed next to us every night. Well, enjoy until they would wake up early in the morning and find curtains to climb and strings to play with. Then I would scoop them both up, give them a treat and shut them out of the room for some last minute peaceful shut eye. The best thing about kitty sitting is I think they won Beejay over!! YES!!
This home was also right around the corner from Abbey Road and a few roads down from Paul McCartney's house. We saw a lot of activity in the area for the wedding, but were never able to catch a glimpse of him and his bride.
Oh, and below is a MUST SEE video of curious kitties flying through the air being startled by the strings of Beejay's guitar! It happens twice. Just thinking about it has me cracking up!
Love from London ~K
